2019 Volkswagen Jetta Redesign: What to Expect
The iconic Volkswagen Jetta will be undergoing a redesign for the 2019 model year. The Jetta is the best-selling model for the German brand and was introduced to the United States market in 1980. Along with the newly-redesigned Tiguan for 2018, as well as the release of a three-row version of the Atlas, Volkswagen continues to offer consumers the features and vehicles that fit their lifestyles. With the 2019 Jetta, Volkswagen is poised to offer customers who are looking for a compact sedan all the features and styling they love in the Jetta in an updated form.
2019 Volkswagen Jetta Redesign: What to ExpectOffering Jetta Customers More for Less
As Matthias Erb, the head of product strategy for Volkswagen’s North American division, as well as the chief engineering officer, noted the automaker’s platform strategy provides significant advantages for consumers. It enables the German automaker to offer their customers state-of-the-art safety features and luxury driving assistance at prices that are competitive with other vehicles that provide fewer features.
A Long List of Standard Features
The redesigned 2019 Volkswagen Jetta will be released with a long list of standard features. A completely updated cockpit will demonstrate the sleek European design that consumers already enjoy with the 2018 Volkswagen Golf that is currently being sold throughout Europe. Inside that cockpit, consumers will enjoy an updated infotainment system that is compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other standard features that add to the updated look of the exterior of the 2019 Jetta are LED rear and front lighting.
